[Image taken 26.6.22] Currys, Rawcliffe/Clifton Moor, York. I took the image to illustrate that for cycle parking to be useful and used, it has to be near the destination. Not least at a location people will have luggage - cycle baggage is not easily carried off the bike. And at a retail park, the bags will likely be full. As mine were. And heavy. As mine were. (I took one bag in with me but had to leave the second unattended. I did use both my Sold Secure gold standard locks - - though to make theft of the cycle less attractive and option.) So, two sets of customers (presumably a total of four visitors) to Currys have flyparked either side of the entrance – no matter that there are (overly large) racks in the corner, just visible, at the back of this shot. Given the amount of car parking, there must be space for a clump of Sheffields. Other images today: #183741, #183742, #183743, #183744, #183745, #183746.
