Shared-use cycleway along the eastern side of the A1 from Little Paxton to Buckden. Rideable but watch out for the lack of dropped kerbs in a few places.

The footway on this side of American Lane is shared use but not on the other side (where a cyclist is riding). Shared use cycleway users are expected to dismount to cross these side roads. The sign opposite is actually the wrong way roun ... [more]

There's an obvious place to have a dropped kerb where the shared use cycleway opposite joins American Lane. But there's not one because the shared use continues along the narrow footway. This is just crap and ill thought through rubbish!

Shard use cycleway - further along here who is mean to be on what side gets even more confused.

Give way, dodge the bollard, check its clear, cross, doge another bollard - this is what its like on a shared use footway. Although this is one of the better examples as it is relatively wide.
