Encountering some traffic along NCR 51, while passing through some very pretty grazing land. The pathway is fairly high quality, seems to be newer in the eastern section than the western part. The entrances to the path on either side are ... [more]

Lovely pathway between the Houghton Mill (National Trust site) and NCR 51. Looks like it has been recently resurfaced and widened. Land is under private ownership and path is permissive. Being in a flood plain it is occasionally impassable ... [more]

The Thicket is a lovely path through some forested area of St Ives. Very popular with people walking and cycling, sometimes to the point of overflowing on nice days (we managed to find a quieter section). The pathway was resurfaced & widene ... [more]

Crossing from the shared use on one side of the road to the other. The short section of shared use is on the north side of the road because there is a bank on the other side, as can be seen in the photo. I saw quite a few riders on that ... [more]

Priority over a sideroad. The pavement cycleway is obviously inadequate, but this is a rare example of continuity.

Recently upgraded surface through 'The Thicket'

Improvements on the Houghton to St Ives riverside route. The track has been widened, levelled and resurfaced. Negotiating bollards placed to presumably prevent motorised access.

New bridge from Eaton Socon to Eynesbury

There are plenty of useful linking paths in Eaton Socon - this one is unpaved, but it's still lit.
