@simon_nuttall @RantyHighwayman @cyclestreets Huntingdon Rd, Huntingdon, near Tesco’s . Here is another death trap for school children, in Godmanchester. 🙁 Note: similar photo from nine years previously: #45 ... [more]

@RantyHighwayman One of my least favourite cycle lanes in Huntingdon! Precise location near this Tesco's not exactly known, yet.

@A428Cat 9 months on and @HighwaysEAST have still failed to commission the NMU' lights at #BramptonHut Meanwhile lives are put at risk daily as vulnerable road users attempt to cross the A14 and still no date for fixing them. @camcycle @Ran ... [more]

@hopsncheese George Street, #Huntingdon would benefit from 2 way cycling - part of @sustrans #NationalCycleNetwork route. @Huntingdon_Town views needed. @AmyBurbidge2 @Tomstukeley

The crossings are toucans, but they in no way compensate for the road closure and total lack of dropped kerbs or other cycle-friendy features. They're entirely aimed at cyclists on the shared-use footways.

The Houghton bypass - why isn't a cycle route signed through the village?

Unfriendly two-stage caged crossings (even on a road to nowhere)

St Neots' Market Place would be very attractive if it wasn't swamped with cars.

No signage at all to the new cycle bridge from Eaton Socon to Eynesbury.

It's not at all clear, but cyclists should use the shared-use footway to the left rather than crossing next to the car trap to reach the cycleway.

Cyclists are supposed to use the shared-use footway to the left to reach the cycleway, but some will want to pass next to the car traps here.

With the bridleway flooded and icy on both sides of the busway in this area users wanting to get through are forced to walk or cycle on the trackway.
